Kids Recipe cards and recipe box

Does your kids have their own recipe box filled with some of their favorite recipes? This is a great way to start their collection. My son has a simple booklet with several recipes he has made but we need to upgrade to something more sturdy. I just found this and it looks like a lot of fun.

Egg dyeing ideas

Try these ideas for decorating and dyeing Easter eggs.

  • Use rubber bands around your egg and then place in colored dye. Allow to dry and take off rubber bands. You will have a great design.
  • Using fingerpaint dip your finger in paint and thumbprint or fingerprint the egg.
  • Sponge paint with little sponges

  • Egg shell mosaic

If you dye eggs at your house for Easter, save the shells after peeling them. The younger kids will enjoy making beautiful egg shell mosaics with them. Draw a shape, design or animal on a white sheet of heavy paper. Let them glue egg shells on their picture, creating a artistic mosaic.
