Survey Results

Thanks for all who took our recent survey. Linda and Connie are our winners of a Kids Cooking Activities ebook.

I was surprised at some of the results and delighted how willing you were to help. I just want to share a few thoughts from the survey.

There is a BIG response on getting a forum. I think that would be great but I know getting a forum will require moderators who can keep spam and deleting spam posts daily. So I will keep this in mind and see what I can do in the future. If anyone has a desire to be a volunteer forum moderator in the future let me know. Unfortunately this isn't something I can do all myself, at least not by myself and keep sane at the same time!

There were many comments that you would like to see what ideas others have. Wonderful, I am all for that idea. I'd really like to make the site more interactive. One way you can do this now is, on almost every page there is a form where you can submit your own recipe/idea and create your own webpage.

This is a great way to share and others can leave comments on your page as well. If you haven't seen it, here is one of my favorite pages... 80yr old duel national British USA.
She filled out the form on the page her recipe pertained to, this one being British cooking, and then it created its own page. Then you can also read the comments others have left.

Here is another great example... Spaghetti relay

I justed wanted to share this with you in case you have missed it in the past. I've gotten several throughout different pages but if you don't know they are there it can be easy to miss. And you can also attach pictures with this form as well.

Another option to make the site more interactive, where you can get feedback from other moms/dads, teachers, etc, is for me to add a dedicated blog where you can add your own comments. So this is something I will look into what will work best for the site, for you and for me.

If you have any thoughts to share about what you'd like to see, let me know, just follow the contact me button on the left. I'm always willing to hear your ideas and suggestions.

Kids Cooking Videos

There are so many wonderful kids cooking videos available online. However, you have to filter through a lot of bad and inappropriate videos to find them! I've cut to the chase and gathered some of the best for kids to learn from.

But... I find so many good ones that I just don't have room throughout my site for all of them. So each month I'm going to highlight a favorite cooking video on the kids cooking videos page. (I just added a new one, now)
