Kids
Cooking Lessons will be getting your chef involved in meal planning
this week. Not only is the chef-in-training at a good age to help in
the kitchen they can also be a big help with meal planning and writing
shopping lists.
Kids Cooking Lessons Part 1:
Planning Meals and Writing Shopping Lists
Allow your child to help you with the next week's
menu. Have them write
down the menu on a calendar or paper to hang on the refrigerator and
let them write out the shopping list. This is good writing and language
skills for them.

place in Ziploc bag)
Stuffed Meatballs
1 lb. Ground hamburger
1 Egg

Mozzarella cheese cubes
In bowl combine hamburger, egg and bread crumbs. Break up hamburger
into small pieces and massage with your hands until well blended. Form
into small balls placing a cheese cube inside each meatball. Place on
cookie sheet. Wash hands well. Adult should bake at 350 degrees for
15-20 minutes, turning after 10 minutes. Serve with a spaghetti sauce
and noodles, meatball sandwiches or in your favorite meatball recipe.
