A simple roasted broccoli side dish for Junior Chef
lesson 13.
Ingredients
- 1 pound broccoli
- 2 tablespoons olive
oil
- Pinch of salt and
pepper
- 2 tablespoons
unsalted butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
- Wash and drain broccoli. Pat dry and cut into
florets.
- Toss the broccoli with olive oil, salt, and
pepper to taste.
- Arrange florets in a single layer on a baking
sheet.
- Roast, turning once, for about 12 minutes or
until just tender.
