Roasted Broccoli and Bacon
Roasted broccoli and bacon is a flavorful broccoli side dish with garlic and balsamic vinegar.
Ingredients
- 6 bacon slices, cut into small pieces
- 2 heads broccoli, cut into small florets
- 5 large cloves garlic, minced
- 4 to 5 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- Sea salt, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Line a baking tray with foil.
- Wash and dry the broccoli florets well.
- Combine the broccoli, bacon, garlic, oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the mixture on the tray.
- Roast for 30 to 35 minutes, flipping every 10 minutes for even browning.
Tip: Drying the broccoli before roasting helps it brown better instead of steaming.
Kid Note: Kids can help break broccoli into florets, toss ingredients together, and spread everything onto the pan.
