8 cups granola
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons water
- 4 cups old-fashioned
oatmeal
- 1 cup whole wheat
flour
- 1 cup sunflower
seeds
- 1 cup chopped nuts
(any combination)
- 1 cup raisins
Instructions
- Place butter,
brown sugar, honey, and water in a 9×13-inch
baking pan. Turn oven to 350°F and place pan
inside to melt ingredients.
- Remove pan once
melted and stir until smooth.
- Add oatmeal,
flour, sunflower seeds, and nuts. Stir until
well coated.
- Return pan to
oven and bake for 40- 45 minutes, stirring every
10-15 minutes.
- Remove from
oven and let cool slightly.
- Stir in raisins
and allow granola to cool completely.
