Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 4 cups old-fashioned oatmeal
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (any combination)
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Place butter, brown sugar, honey, and water in a 9×13-inch baking pan. Turn oven to 350°F and place pan inside to melt ingredients.
  2. Remove pan once melted and stir until smooth.
  3. Add oatmeal, flour, sunflower seeds, and nuts. Stir until well coated.
  4. Return pan to oven and bake for 40- 45 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  6. Stir in raisins and allow granola to cool completely.
