glasses
Ingredients
- 1 package flavored
gelatin (any color)
- Water (as directed
on package)
- Clear drinking
glasses
- Plastic straws
Instructions
- Prepare gelatin
according to package directions.
- Pour liquid
gelatin into clear drinking glasses.
- Place a straw
upright into each glass before gelatin sets.
- Refrigerate
until completely firm (3–4 hours).
- Serve and watch
the surprise when someone tries to sip!
Kid-Friendly Tips
- Use bright colors for extra “drink” realism.
- Chill straws slightly so they stay upright
while setting.
- Clear cups make the prank more convincing.
Fun Variations
- Layer two different colors for a “fancy drink”
look.
- Add fruit pieces before chilling.
- Top with whipped cream for a “float”
appearance.
Notes
Insert straws before gelatin
fully sets so they stay in place. For younger
kids, cut gelatin into cubes after the joke and
serve normally.
