Crispy Potato Nests are a fun
and creative way for kids to turn simple hash browns
into edible “nests.” Perfect for Easter, spring brunch,
or a playful lunch idea, these baked potato cups are
crispy on the outside and ready to fill with your
favorite toppings!
Ingredients
- 20 oz bag shredded hash browns (thawed if frozen)
- 4 Tablespoons oil
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a bowl, stir together hash browns, egg, oil,
salt, and pepper.
- Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
- Press hash brown mixture firmly into each muffin
cup, pushing up along the sides to create a nest
shape.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until
golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool slightly before removing from pan.
- Fill with boiled eggs or your favorite savory
filling.
