- No heat required — perfect for young chefs
- Let kids choose their own coatings
- Use gloves to keep hands clean and less sticky
Cookie Substitution Guide
Goya Maria cookies
are lightly sweet vanilla tea biscuits popular in
Latin American cooking. If unavailable, substitute
with vanilla wafers, graham crackers, digestive
biscuits, or plain butter cookies for the same
texture and flavor.
Variation Ideas
- Add a drop of vanilla extract
- Roll in shredded coconut
- Dip in melted chocolate for a coated truffle
- Add cinnamon for a Mexican chocolate flavor
Notes
If mixture is too soft to
roll, chill for a few more minutes. Store truffles
in the refrigerator until serving.
