Ingredients
- 4 Red Delicious
apples, peeled and cored halfway through
- 16 red hot candy
pieces
- 8 miniature
marshmallows
Instructions
- Place prepared
apples upright in a microwave-safe casserole
dish.
- Drop a few red
hot candies into the center of each apple, then
add 1 marshmallow on top.
- Cover the dish
loosely with plastic wrap or waxed paper.
- Microwave for 7
minutes, or until apples begin to soften.
- Carefully
uncover, add another layer of red hot candies
and marshmallows to each apple.
- Re-cover and
microwave for an additional 5 minutes, or until
apples are tender.
- Let cool
several minutes before serving (filling will be
very hot).
