Quick Bean Salad

This easy bean salad mixes green beans, kidney beans, vegetables, bacon, and nuts for a hearty side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh green beans or green peas
  • 1 1/2 cups kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped green peppers
  • 5 to 7 slices bacon, diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or almonds

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon and prepare the vegetables and beans.
  2. Mix all ingredients together and toss.
  3. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
