3 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
Black pepper, to taste
1 can (about 15 ounces) cream-style corn
2 cups diced cooked turkey
1 cup soft breadcrumbs

Melt 3 tablespoons butter in a medium saucepan over low to medium heat.

Season the sauce with salt and black pepper.
Spread half of the cream-style corn in the bottom of the prepared casserole dish.
Add half of the turkey and spoon half of the white sauce over it.
Repeat the layers with the remaining corn, turkey, and sauce.
Stir the breadcrumbs together with 2 tablespoons melted butter.
Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the casserole.
Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbling around the edges and the topping is golden brown.
