Fairy princess wands

Watch these magical treats disappear before your eyes! Fairy Princess Wands are fun no-bake cereal treats decorated with white chocolate and colorful sprinkles. They're perfect for princess parties, birthdays, tea parties, and fairy-themed celebrations.

For a colorful variation, prepare your favorite cereal recipe and add a few drops of food coloring to the melted marshmallow mixture before adding the cereal. Press into a pan, cut into shapes, insert sticks, and decorate just like the Fairy Princess Wands.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups corn puff cereal, Cheerios, or similar cereal
  • 12 ounces white chocolate morsels
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Vegetable cooking spray
  • 12 lollipop sticks
  • 1/3 cup additional white chocolate morsels
  • Colored sugar sprinkles

Directions

  1. Place the cereal in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Combine the white chocolate morsels, corn syrup, and butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
  3. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, then continue heating in 15-second intervals until smooth. Do not overheat.
  4. Pour the melted mixture over the cereal and stir gently until coated.
  5. Lightly grease a 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan and press the cereal mixture evenly into the pan.
  6. Allow the mixture to cool for about 15 minutes.
  7. Using a 4-inch star or heart cookie cutter, cut shapes from the cereal mixture.
  8. Place the shapes on a wax paper-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes until firm.
  9. Carefully insert a lollipop stick into each shape.
  10. Melt the remaining white chocolate morsels in a microwave-safe bag or bowl.
  11. Drizzle melted white chocolate over each wand.
  12. Decorate with colored sugar sprinkles.
  13. Allow the chocolate to set before serving.

Yield: 12 fairy wands
