Gluten Free Chili Lime Turkey Bites
These gluten free chili lime turkey bites are packed with flavor from lime, garlic, peppers, and chili flakes. They're perfect for lunches, picnics, parties, meal prep, or easy family dinners. Pair them with the creamy cilantro lime dipping sauce for even more fresh flavor.
Turkey Bite Ingredients
- 1 package ground turkey breast
- 2 eggs
- 2 salad onions, finely diced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, finely diced
- 1 lime, juiced and zested
- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
Cilantro Lime Dipping Sauce
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- Zest of 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Add the ground turkey, eggs, salad onions, bell pepper, lime juice and zest, cheddar cheese, salt, white pepper, garlic, and chili flakes to a large bowl. Mix until thoroughly combined. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the turkey mixture into your hands and shape into small patties or bites. Place on a nonstick baking tray. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until lightly browned and fully cooked. For the dipping sauce, combine the sour cream, lime juice, lime zest, honey, and chopped cilantro in a small bowl and stir until smooth. Serve the turkey bites warm or chilled with the dipping sauce.
Yield: About 18 to 24 turkey bites.
