Enjoy the season of apples with this recipe. Ingredients:
32 oz. jar applesauce
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 Cup vinegar
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions: Place all ingredients in a crock pot. Stir to combine. Cook on low 5-6 hours. Apple butter is ready when it is thick and transparent. Cool and place in fridge or freeze in small containers.
