Ingredients
2 cups cooked white rice (great for using leftovers!)
2 cups milk (any kind works – dairy or non-dairy)
⅓ cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Directions
Combine: In a medium saucepan, add cooked rice, milk, and sugar. Stir together.
Heat: Place the pan on the stove over medium heat. Stir often to keep from sticking (kids can stir with supervision).
Thicken: Cook for about 10–15 minutes until it becomes creamy.
Flavor: Remove from heat and stir in vanilla (and cinnamon or raisins if you like).
Serve: Enjoy warm, or let it cool and refrigerate for a chilled treat.
