Rocket Fruit Kabobs
Build your own edible rocket ships using colorful fruit—great for learning about shapes, sequencing, and healthy eating!
Ingredients:Strawberries (rocket “nose cone”)
Pineapple chunks or melon (rocket “body”)
Green grapes or blueberries (rocket “boosters”)
Mini marshmallows or cheese cubes (cloud trail or “smoke”)
Skewers or craft sticks
Optional: Yogurt for dipping
Directions:Create the Rocket Shape:
Thread fruit onto skewers in this order:
Pointy end: Strawberry (nose cone)
Middle: Pineapple or melon chunks (rocket body)
Base: Grapes or blueberries (rocket boosters)
End: Mini marshmallow to represent smoke!
Read & Eat:
While enjoying their kabobs, kids can listen to a read-aloud of a space book and talk about rocket shapes, space travel, or planets.
