Special Needs Students Cooking Meals

Special Needs Students Cooking Meals

by Tammy Butts
(Prattville, Alabama)

I am a Chef for a nonprofit ministry 501(c)3 organization and have started a Culinary Program for special needs students and wanted to share one of the students cooking meals.

I have found your curriculum for all students, and it has been a blessing for special needs students. Here is a sausage mummy Lizza Davis made last week.

It was made with biscuit dough and sausage patties, topped with Halloween eyes. Lizza also made a Halloween trifle for dessert.

Thank you for letting me share her story.

Trifle Ingredients consisted of a layer on the bottom that had chocolate Cretan cheese cookie, a layer of 3 Oreo cookies, cool whip 3 oz. Cup colored orange,
Another 3 oz. Cool whip white and topped with Halloween candies and sprinkles

All students have their own special menu and will post weekly
Thank you
Tammy Butts
