Easy Strawberry Yogurt Cake

  • White cake mix
  • 6 oz. strawberry yogurt
  • Prepared Frosting
  • Fresh sliced strawberries
Beat mix according to directions and add in yogurt. Bake according to directions. When completely cool frost and garnish with cut strawberries.

Fresh Strawberry Cake

These homemade strawberry cake recipes are sure to please. You can use frozen strawberries if fresh aren't in season. This recipe also makes great cupcakes, add a buttercream swirl and fresh strawberry slice for a topper.
It is very easy to make and tastes wonderful. It is very moist and dense. The strawberry cream cheese gives it an extra added richness too.
  • 1 white cake mix or homemade white cake
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen sweetened strawberries, pureed; or unsweetened with 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 8 oz strawberry cream cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2- 9" round cake pans or 1 9x13 pan.
Mix together mix, strawberries, eggs, and oil. Add cream cheese and beat well. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Do not over-bake. This is very moist and may appear to be not done in the middle. Just make sure the middle is solid and not runny.

Strawberry Jell-O Cake Recipe

  • 1 white cake mix
  • 1- 3oz pkg strawberry gelatin mix
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 Tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 4 oz frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup buttermilk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan or two 9” round pans. Thaw and drain strawberries. Combine all ingredients including thawed strawberries and blend well. Pour into prepared pans. Bake 25-35 minutes.

Strawberry Frosting


This recipe is best for filling or frosting your cake and then using a buttercream icing to decorate and add borders and piping details.
Strawberry Frosting Recipe
  • 1 1/4 cups frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 1/2 Cup butter
  • 5 cups powdered sugar
Directions:
Thaw strawberries, mash, and drain juice. Set juice aside. Mix together butter, strawberries, and powdered sugar until creamy.
If icing is too thick, add strawberry juice a few tsp at a time until desired consistency is reached.
