All you need is a plastic jar, 35% cream, and some crackers or bread to put the butter on. Pour the cream into the bottle filling it about half way. Then shake it until it turns into butter!
Get the children to roll it around the circle and the teacher in between shake it. Eventually you will see butter, you then dump out the remaining butter milk and allow the children to put the butter on their crackers and eat it.
