Ingredients

  • 1½ cups cornstarch
  • 1½ cups water
  • Food coloring

Supplies

  • Muffin tin or small cups
  • Spoons for stirring
  • Paintbrushes or foam brushes

Directions

  1. Whisk together the cornstarch and water until smooth.
  2. Divide the mixture evenly among the cups of a muffin tin or into small containers.
  3. Add 1-2 drops of food coloring to each cup and stir until the color is evenly mixed.
  4. Take the paint outside and use paintbrushes to decorate sidewalks, driveways, or patios.
  5. Watch as the paint dries and the colors become brighter.
  6. When you're finished, simply rinse away the artwork with water or let the next rain wash it away.
