This colorful Jell-O shaved ice is a fun frozen dessert made with soda and flavored gelatin. Kids can scoop and shave the frozen mixture into icy treats perfect for summer days, parties, and easy no-bake kitchen fun.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups Sprite or lemon-lime soda
  • 1/4 package flavored Jell-O gelatin

Directions

Pour the boiling water into a square cake pan or shallow freezer-safe dish.

Add the Jell-O powder and whisk until completely dissolved.

Stir in the soda gently to combine.

Place the pan into the freezer and freeze for 4 to 6 hours or overnight until solid.

Use an ice cream scoop, spoon, or fork to scrape and shave the frozen mixture into fluffy ice crystals.

Serve immediately and enjoy.
Yield: About 4 servings.
