Pumpkin Dip
This savory pumpkin dip is a fun fall snack recipe for kids to help make. Serve it with tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetable sticks for Halloween parties, Thanksgiving appetizers, or autumn cooking activities.
Ingredients
- 2 large packages cream cheese, softened, 12 ounces total
- 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 2/3 cup chopped olives
- 2 to 3 chopped plum tomatoes, seeds removed
- 1/3 cup chopped bell peppers
- Seeds for garnish, optional
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and taco seasoning until smooth.
- Spoon the dip into a serving dish and chill until ready to serve.
- Before serving, gently stir in chopped tomatoes, bell peppers, and olives.
- Garnish with seeds, if desired.
- Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetable sticks.
Serving Idea: For Halloween or Thanksgiving fun, serve this dip in a hollowed-out pumpkin.
