Slow Cooker Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin
This easy teriyaki pork tenderloin cooks in the slow cooker with a simple homemade sauce flavored with soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Slice or shred the finished pork and serve it with rice and vegetables for an easy family dinner.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: About 3-4 hours on LOW
Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
- 1 pork tenderloin, about 1-1 1/2 pounds
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 teaspoons ground ginger
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
Directions
- In a measuring cup or small bowl, stir together the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, water, ginger, and minced garlic.
- Place the pork tenderloin in the slow cooker.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce mixture evenly over the pork.
- Cover and cook on LOW for about 3-4 hours, or until the thickest part of the pork reaches 145°F on a meat thermometer. Cooking time can vary depending on the size of the tenderloin and your slow cooker.
- Remove the pork from the slow cooker and let it rest for at least 3 minutes.
- Slice the tenderloin and spoon some of the cooking sauce over the top before serving.
Make It a Meal
Serve the teriyaki pork with rice or other whole grains and steamed broccoli, carrots, green beans, or your family's favorite vegetables.
Using a Pork Roast Instead?
You can substitute a larger pork roast, but it will need a longer cooking time than pork tenderloin. Cook until the pork is tender enough for the way you plan to serve it, checking the temperature and tenderness rather than relying only on the clock.
