Baked Tortilla Chips
These crispy homemade tortilla chips are easy to make and fun to customize. Using a variety of tortillas creates colorful chips that are perfect for dipping, snack boards, nachos, and party trays.
Ingredients
- 2 flour tortillas
- 2 corn tortillas
- 2 sun-dried tomato tortillas
- 2 spinach tortillas
- Nonstick cooking spray
- Salt, garlic salt, onion salt, or chili powder to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Place tortillas on a clean work surface and lightly spray with cooking spray. Sprinkle with your choice of seasonings. Turn the tortillas over and repeat on the other side. Stack the tortillas and cut each into quarters, creating triangles. Arrange the pieces in a single layer on baking sheets without overlapping. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes or until crisp and lightly browned. Transfer to a cooling rack and allow to cool completely. The chips will continue to crisp as they cool.
Yield: About 32 tortilla chips.
