Pizza Bowl
Don't want to use pizza crust? Try a pizza bowl instead. This easy recipe lets everyone create their own personal pizza packed with sauce, cheese, and favorite toppings. It's a fun low-crust alternative that's perfect for lunch, dinner, or pizza parties.
Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
- 2 cups pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cooked sausage, ground beef, or pepperoni
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced olives
- Other favorite pizza toppings
- Breadsticks, garlic bread, or toasted bread slices for serving (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Lightly grease 4-6 small foil pans or oven-safe ramekins.
- Spread a layer of pizza sauce in the bottom of each dish.
- Add your favorite pizza toppings.
- Cover with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Add a few extra toppings on top of the cheese.
- Bake for 8-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
