Jell-O Parfait

Red white and valentines Jell-O parfait
These colorful Jell-O parfaits are a fun layered dessert kids love helping create. Made with Jell-O cubes, whipped cream, and festive toppings, they are perfect for parties, holidays, classroom celebrations, and simple family dessert fun.

Ingredients

  • 1 package red or pink Jell-O
  • Whipped cream
  • Sprinkles, red hots, or conversation hearts
  • Tall plastic cups or dessert cups

Directions

Lightly coat a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray. Prepare the Jell-O according to package directions and pour into the prepared pan. Refrigerate until completely set.

Cut the Jell-O into cubes and place the cubes into a bowl. Allow kids to layer the cubes into tall cups with whipped cream between each layer.

Continue layering Jell-O cubes and whipped cream until the cups are filled. Finish with extra whipped cream on top and decorate with sprinkles, red hots, or conversation hearts.

Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.
Yield: About 4 to 6 parfaits depending on cup size.

Kid Cooking Tip

Kids can layer the Jell-O cubes, spray whipped cream, and decorate each parfait with colorful toppings.

Variation Ideas

Change the Jell-O colors for holidays like red and blue for Fourth of July, orange and purple for Halloween, or green and red for Christmas.
