Easy Soup Recipes
Ham and Vegetable Soup
Ingredients:
8 Cup chicken broth
2 medium potatoes, cubed or equal to 2 Cups cubed
1 ½ Cup broccoli florets and 1Cup cauliflower florets
or use small bag of broccoli/cauliflower mix
¼ teaspoon nutmeg, optional
½ Cup chopped, cooked ham
Combine broth and potatoes in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce
heat and simmer until potatoes are tender. Stir in
broccoli, cauliflower and nutmeg. Simmer 5 minutes until vegetables
are tender. Stir in chopped ham and heat through. **Serve with
breadsticks use recipe below if desired.
Crockpot Ham Corn Chowder
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen hash browns with peppers and onions
1 cup cooked ham, diced
1 pkg (10 oz) frozen corn
1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
2 to 2 1/2 cups milk
salt and pepper to taste
Put all ingredients in crockpot and stir to combine. Set heat to
Low and cook for 5 to 7 hours. Add more salt and pepper if
desired.
~ You can substitute diced cooked chicken for this ham vegetable
soup recipe if you desire.
Another Variation of Ham & Corn Chowder
3 Cup milk
6-8 slices bacon fried or diced ham
2 cans creamed corn or fresh corn
on the cob cooked and cut off cob about 3-4 Cups
2 Cup potatoes, peeled, boiled, cubed
1 teaspoon salt
½ Cup shredded cheese

Cook potatoes in boiling water until tender. Fry bacon in microwave
or in skillet. In large pan add milk, corn, cooked potatoes and
salt. Cook until corn is tender or soup is heated through. Season
with pepper. Spoon into serving bowls. Sprinkle each helping with
cheese and bacon.
Ham Macaroni and Cheese Chowder
Ingredients:
1 (14 oz.) can of chicken broth
1 Cup of water
1 Cup of elbow macaroni or other shape
1 Cup frozen corn
1 Cup frozen peas and carrots
1 Cup cooked ham, diced
6 oz. of American cheese, cubed
1 Cup milk
Pour the chicken broth and water into a large saucepan.
Place the pan over high heat and bring to a brisk boil.
Pour in the macaroni.
Reduce the heat to medium low.
Simmer for 12 minutes or until the macaroni is tender.
Do not drain.
Stir in the corn, peas and carrots, ham and cheese cubes.
Pour the milk into the pan and stir until blended in well.
Cook, stirring often, for 5 minutes or until the cheese has
completely melted.
Makes 4 servings
Ham and Potato Soup Recipe Video
Ham Bean Soup
Ingredients:
3 Cups white beans, canned
1 onion, quartered
2 bay leaves
1-2 potatoes, cubed
2 carrots, cubed
1 Cup chopped ham
salt and pepper
2 Tablespoons Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
Directions:
In a pot, add potatoes, carrots and beans. Add more water if needed
to cover all the vegetables. Add in spices. Bring to a boil and cook
until potatoes are tender. Taste test and add more seasonings as
needed.
